Joaquin Phoenix has revealed that he spoke with filmmaker Christopher Nolan about playing Joker which ultimately went to Heath Ledger. The 50-year-old actor - whose latest flick Joker : Folie À Deux could be streamed now - got candid about potentially playing the supervillain before he actually portrayed him.
