The team was launched by Coya Paz and Tanya Saracho in 2001 in reaction to their activities with a absence of representation of Latinas in the media and theatre scene. In the company’s early days they executed SÓLOS Latinas Project in which they fostered the attempts of local Latina writers. She managed to escape as the future working day as it was reported the subsequent day by a community newspaper.
